Oh. My. God.
I swear, I cannot wait to get to Europe. That is, if I don't kill myself first.
First of all, for the past week or so, my family has been so... weird. My mom's clingy, my brother's a complete ass, and my grandmother... Well, let's just say she'd rather I lived in a lead-lined box than go anywhere.
Anyway, I've been pretty much driven crazy. But this morning takes the cake.
I wake up, come downstairs, and these are my mother's first words.
"You're not going."
Lead. My stomach is lead.
Damnable. London. Terrorists. :@
So after a day of complete upheaval, and much, much time spent convincing my mom that security would be more than usual and it would all be okay, it has been decided that I can, in fact, go. That said, I'll be gone for two weeks starting Saturday, June 30th. Love to all
...
*breathes*
EDIT:
Well, change of plans. Some things got turned around, and it turns out I won't be going to Prague. *tear*
However, I will be going to London, Paris, Munich, Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest.
Anyway, I think it's a fair trade.
I've always wanted to go to London. and Paris. I just really hope I can see Oscar Wilde's grave while I'm there. :3

EUROPEEUROPEEUROPE!!!!!
Guess where I'm going?
So yeah, I'm excited. I'm very, very excited. But I'm getting ahead of myself.
You see, I got a letter in the mail today. (I never get mail. Like, ever. ) And it was so Harry-Potter-esque, it was hilarious. (With the big envelope and the crazy script and... Yeah, I need to get out more.) But inside the envelope there was this official-looking letter with a spiffy golden seal and...
Me: Mom, I think the feds caught on to my massive downloading. >.>
But no! It was an invitation! To this kick-ass 'Global Young Leaders Conferance', which is basically days of conferances and art museums and operas and LUNCHES WITH QUEENS
IN VIENNA
AND BUDHAPEST
AND PRAGUE
<3
And apparently less than 1% of the population gets accepted every year, so yeah. Squee!!!!! ^_^

Yeah, Paris and London were definately my favorite places to visit, probably the only places I'd go again, for extended visits. (although Budapest was beautiful as well.)
Whoa, Thailand?? o-o Awesome :3 My friend's mom grew up there ^^

98% of all dA members have some stupid message in their sig that says they are part of the 2% of all people that have not smoked pot.
Put this in your sig if you are among the 2% of all dA members who think those people are just attention whores.
(Question: I'm going to England next year - is Wilde's grave in England? If so, where?)

Victor Hugo? Is he there? Hell. How many famous dead guys are actually in England that I might be able to see?
Thanks anyway! I'm sure I could've looked it up myself, but I only remembered that after the fact.
